A Talk cum Interactive session on Widening Electoral Democracy: The Amazing Success Story of Social Media Campaign of the Election Commission of India was held on 19 April, 2012 by Mr. Kapil Kaul, Advisor – Social Marketing, Election Commission of India. Mr Kaul talked about the origin of the Social Marketing Campaign, its key instruments, role of icons and the overall impact in making India’s electoral democracy a more vibrant one.
