Energy for global citizens
The world is currently going through a massive transition in energy consumption, which will alter the social, economic, and personal landscape worldwide on a scale comparable to the transition during the industrial revolution of the 18th century which brought humanity to our modern and global lives.
Starting from basic principles, including a necessary discussion about entropy and the second law of thermodynamics, we will talk about how to understand this transition, its challenges, solution choices, and the consequences – for individuals, societies and the globe – of these choices.
