Achieving a Rabies-Free Goa and Challenges with the dog population
Is dog a man’s friend or a threat? Dog is in fact the best companion animal in the world, internationally accepted, but unfortunately dogs spread Rabies a deadly disease to human. What shall we do? What is the solution? Can we kill all dogs?
Dogs are actually victims of this Rabies virus. Mission Rabies in collaboration with Government of Goa is working very hard to eliminate this virus from Goa state to make Goa Rabies free and keep the dogs safer to human. This is a marathon task but still we are successful to a very large extent.
– How the Rabies is being eliminated?
– How we can make the dogs friendly and enjoy their company?
– How the dog bite could be prevented?
– If bitten, How to manage a dog bite?
– How the dog population could be controlled and who is responsible for it?
